Sarah's passion for empowering individuals to take charge of their health stems from her extensive clinical background and personal health challenges.

Witnessing firsthand the impact of lifestyle choices on long-term health, Sarah is dedicated to providing you with evidence-based guidance and unwavering support. She believes that rigid dogma gets in the way of a truly personalized approach to wellness. From Struggle to Strength:
My Journey to Healing

"I can't do this... I am not strong enough to do this."

These are the words I spoke in my hospital bed, tears rolling down my face, emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausted.

In 2015, my life took an unexpected turn. What began as a routine surgery to remove uterine fibroids became a harrowing ordeal that reshaped my understanding of health and resilience.

 

While the minimally invasive procedure seemed straightforward, complications left me with two bowel punctures, multiple emergency surgeries, and a month-long hospital stay. I lost 40 pounds, battled infections, and faced a slow, grueling recovery. Even after my ileostomy was reversed, scar tissue led to repeat hospitalizations, and my health struggles seemed never-ending. I was deeply grateful to be alive, but hearing doctors say, “this may be your new normal,” filled me with frustration—I refused to accept that this was the best I could feel.

But in the depths of exhaustion, I found resilience. My health journey led me to explore fasting, ketosis, and gut health, ultimately inspiring me to pursue advanced education at the University of Bridgeport, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s in Nutrition. Through relentless research and self-experimentation, I overcame other health challenges including SIBO, mold toxicity, and hormonal imbalances—challenges traditional medicine often fail to resolve.

Through these trials, I’ve learned that healing isn’t linear. It’s messy, frustrating, and deeply personal. But with knowledge, perseverance, and self-advocacy, we can reclaim our health—even after life’s hardest setbacks. My journey is proof that transformation is possible, and I’m here to help you find your path to wellness.

These experiences have instilled in me some invaluable lessons:

We must be active participants in our own health. No single practitioner holds all the answers. Trust your intuition, seek diverse perspectives, and never stop learning.

Our bodies are constantly evolving. Embrace flexibility and adapt your approach to meet your changing needs. Rigid beliefs can stifle our inner wisdom.
